The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery is one of the oldest medical journals in existence today. It was founded in 1959. Covers topical theoretical and organizational issues of thoracic surgery and related specialties. Works are published concerning the etiology, pathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases of the heart and blood vessels, lungs, mediastinal organs, interactive pathology, as well as work on organ transplantation. Among the regular contributors to the journal are many well-known scientists, clinicians, healthcare organizers representing a variety of specialties - cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, angiologists, anesthesiologists, resuscitators, functional diagnostics doctors, polyclinic doctors, rehabilitation doctors.
