About Singapore

Singapore is a sovereign city-state and island country in Southeast Asia. Singapore is located at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, south of the Malaysian state of Johor and north of Indonesia's Riau Islands. The country consists of one main island, commonly referred to as Singapore Island, and 62 smaller islets. It has a total land area of about 728 square kilometers. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Singapore had a population of around 5.7 million people. The population is diverse, comprising Chinese, Malay, Indian, and other ethnic groups.

Climate :

Singapore has a tropical climate characterized by high temperatures and humidity throughout the year. There are no distinct seasons, but Singapore has a wetter monsoon season from November to January, with heavier rainfall and occasional thunderstorms. The humidity remains high, typically ranging from 70% to 90%. The northeast monsoon brings increased rainfall during December and January. Despite the rainfall, Singapore generally receives abundant sunshine. The southwest monsoon, from June to September, is drier, with less rainfall. The consistent climate contributes to lush greenery and vibrant plant life, making Singapore a tropical paradise.
