Associate Professor Dr Palanirajan Vijayaraj Kumar is a Head of Pharmaceutical Technology Department, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UCSI University. He has completed the Ph.D in Dr. HS Gour University (A Central University, India) in 2007. After his PhD he has continued teaching and research career and guided several undergraduate, postgraduate and 10 PhD student research projects. He has 18 years of experience in both teaching and research, and he has published 67 peer-reviewed papers in addition to two patents. In 2010, his contributions to scientific society were recognized with Pharma Help Line Society, India and he have received Young Scientist Award. Further, his continuous contribution in research, he has received the Promising researcher Award from UCSI University in 2016, Malaysia. In 2017, he received a Brown medal for developing Carica Papaya capsules for dengue patients from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. In 2018 he has received an InnoCentive Award from USA, for developing Novel Cardiac-Specific Ligands for Targeted Drug Delivery sponsored by SERVIER international and independent pharmaceutical company governed by a non-profit foundation from France. In 2020, one of his formulations received Silver Medal in ITEX2020 (32nd International Invention, Innovation Market Place for Innovation and Technology Exhibition, Malaysia). Again in 2021 MTE one his team research product "Transdermal Microneedles for a Recombinant Human Keratinocyte Growth Factor" received silver medal and Award of Merit in conjunction with The Malaysia-Croatia Technology Exchange. Also, his team members developed the mimotope-based vaccine delivery system for treating KRAS-positive colorectal cancer and the chitosan nanoparticle formulation for use in treating acute lung injury, which is protected under a Malaysian patent.

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Nashrul Fazli Bin Mohd Nasir has more than 19 years of experience in teaching, researching and in the industry. He was a pioneering student in Biomedical Engineering from University of Malaya (UM). Due to his keen interest in teaching, he joined Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) as a tutor. He has M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Keele University (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire). He pursued his PhD at RMIT University, Australia, which he completed in less than 3 years (March 2010-January 2013). In year 2005, he joined Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan Malaysia (KUKUM) (currently known as Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)) and was a part of the initial academic staff affiliated with the university’s Biomedical Electronic Engineering Program. In 2006, he was appointed as the first Program Chairperson. From September 2013 until February 2019, he served as the Deputy Dean of Student’s Affair and Alumni at the School of Mechatronic Engineering, UNIMAP. From 2022 until this September, he was the head of Sports Engineering Research Centre (SERC). Currently, he is the Deputy Dean (Academic and Research), Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis. He is active with many activities related to the Biomedical Engineering academics and researches and also dynamically involved with the Medical Device Authority (MDA) in Malaysia, specifically for the assessment of Biomedical Technical Personnel (BTP).
Harun is currently pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Universiti Utara Malaysia and his planned dissertation will be on “The Convergence of Artificial Narrow Intelligence with Artificial General Intelligence.
He co-developed the Consolidated Strategy on 4th Industry Revolution for all Ten (10) ASEAN Member States for the ASEAN Secretariat Jakarta. He is also an Adjunct Assoc. Professor and an Industrial Advisory Panel Member with Taylor’s University and Perdana University, a Board Member at USIM Tijarah Holdings S/B, Chairman of the Board at USIM Healthcare S/B. and an Advisor – Digital, Technology and Innovation with Nippon Koei Mobility S/B.
He is authoring technical papers on Artificial Intelligence for the Telecommunications Sector and Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain for the Healthcare / Healthtech sector, which are the sub-modules of his research / dissertation on the Convergence of Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI) with Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which will include AI adoption strategies and it's future roadmap for both the Public and Private sectors.
Harun has had successful careers in the public and corporate sectors in Malaysia. He is a accomplished Speaker in APAC, Europe and Africa in the areas of AI, Digital Divide and Organization Transformation at seminars and forums organized by Government Related Agencies, UNDP and various other NGO’s in Malaysia, China, Indonesia, India, Africa, France, Spain and in the Middle East.

Dr. MUHAMAD ROSLAN MUHAMAD YUSOFF is a distinguished professional with a rich academic background and over 29 years of extensive global industrial experience. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, and further honed his expertise with a Master's degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick. As a Strategic Thinker, Dr. Roslan holds a Ph.D. in Management of Technology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He also possesses a Certificate in Change Management and Performance Consulting from Pennsylvania State University, USA, and is recognized as a Business Strategy Professional (Level 7/Master) by the London Examinations Board Training Qualifications, UK. Dr. Roslan's professional journey encompasses a wealth of experience with leading organizations such as MOTOROLA, INVENSYS, GLAXOSMITHKLINE, LION GROUP and SERBA DINAMIK GROUP. His roles have taken him across continents, contributing to diverse industries and cultures, including the USA & Canada, UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Oceania. In academia, Dr. Roslan has been actively engaged as an industry advisor and lecturer at reputable institutions like Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Open Universiti Malaysia (OUM), and University of Wollongong (UOW) – INTI. At present, his involvement with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) focuses on postgraduate courses such as Project Management and Strategic Management. Specifically, Dr. Roslan is a Qualified Engineer and a seasoned Business Process Transformation Specialist, boasting a remarkable track record. Dr. Olivia Tan Swee Leng was a Legal Counsel of Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) and in charge of the Domain Name Dispute Resolution for both .com from Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre and .my cases at KLRCA, as well as Mediation/Arbitration case management. She obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree with honours from University of London. She obtained her Masters and Ph.D in Law from National University of Malaysia (UKM). She was the book prize winner for the Civil Procedure Paper and General Paper awarded by the Certificate of Legal Practise Board (Malaysia) in 1996. She practised as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia in the area of Corporate Litigation, Intellectual Property (Trademark), Banking and Conveyancing. At present, she serves as the Director for Technology Transfer Office in Multimedia University (MMU). Dr Olivia Tan Swee Leng also led the “rights of the vulnerable”group in Phase 1 development of the National Human Rights Action Plan in Malaysia (NHRAP) in 2015. In 2017 to 2018 she was the lead researcher for Reviewing Adoption Act 1952 and Registration of Adoptions Act 1952 sponsored by the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) under the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia. In 2018, she was appointed by the Department of Social Welfare, Kuala Lumpur as the assessor of strategic development for the Activity Centers for the Elderly (PAWE) in Kuala Lumpur. Dr Olivia Tan is also an Honorary member and Committee member of the Activity Centre for the Elderly at Putrajaya (PAWE).
Professor Kanaga Kumari Chelliah graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging from Curtin University, Australia and attained postgraduate qualifications in Education and Masters in Medical Physics from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Currently completing my Doctorate in Education at Open University Malaysia
Prof Kanaga started her career in the Ministry of Health Hospital as a practising radiographer. Prof strong interest and desire to upgrade the radiography profession in Malaysia became a reality when she was offered to design and implement the Bachelor in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy (Hons) in 2000 by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. During her illustrious career in MOH and UKM, she held various academic and managerial positions. Prof Kanaga joined Asia Metropolitan University as the Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences on 1st June 2017.
Currently, she is a registered Class H consultant with the Ministry of Health, responsible to ensure safety standards adhered by X-ray equipment. She is appointed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency as an expert in medical imaging to assess programme in other universities. She was in the team to prepare guidelines for the Allied Health Sciences Act. Her contributions to research and publications have been outstanding at local and international levels. She was the principal investigator for Science Fund, FRGS and other grants. She had published over 50 articles including chapters in local and international books. She had been invited as a keynote and plenary speaker to various international and national level conferences. Her excellence in teaching and learning has been recognized by various awards for innovation. She had contributed to many community projects in collaboration with non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
She have conducted many training programmes related to communication, professionalism, radiation awareness, early detection of breast cancer and health wellness.
